The above chart shows the average maximum and effective ranges of weapons of these categories. By using this information we created our scale. We wanted the base movement speed of infantry at a march to be 4 centimeters and the muskets to have a max range of 16 centimeters. Lucky for us this gave us a clear 20 meters to 1 centimeter scale. Found by 320 meters divided by 16. From there we scaled every weapon and once terrain is developed we will use the march distance to measure and place buildings and bridges.
